ok so one of my freinds just said to me : "oh isn't person x really nerdy" now i'm gonna not mention the person we were talking about. but yea, have you all a had that where someone says that someone else is a perfect example of a characteristic. it's weird, especially when you barely know the person your friend is talking about. so when the freind says something like the above to you, you're forced say "i dont know i barely know him/her" i just find this little nuance of the english lnaguag funny.
reccomended reading = Hunger of Memory by Richard Rodriguez. it's his autobiogaphy on how he went from not speaking a lick of english to being fully assmiliated into american culture. he makes some very good points and is a very nice writer
