quick rants:
#1: Just because a prof signals that class is almost over by asking for any further thoughts or q's, doesnt mena you and your friend should have a side convo in the back for the last 10 minutes of class while your classmates are debriefing the subject. Show some respect and talk to your freind afterwards.
#2: If for some reason i've fallen out of favor wiht you and we havent hung out in a while, tell me why i feel out of favor and dont make obnoxious side comments when i'm around and can ppick up on them.
#3: I dont think i've mentioned how much the oveuse of the word "like" annoys me. i've said it alot and i am cutting back because to me its immature. especially when people say something alogn the lines of "well, it;s like Satan is like moving throughout the different levels of being in Hell in PAradise Lost, like there's no established sense that he is the like overall like tyrant." the word "like" when used as much as it is nowadays makes the kids coming up in the years after i was born (Cause lets face it, thats when it started being very prominent in our language) sound stupid. The word "like" should be abolished as a filler space for the silence in between people's words. especially when its coupled with "you know" and repeated as a chain 2-3 times before the meat of what the person has to say
