look at you all getting multiple posts from me. anyway i just wanna comment here briefly on Djs.
1) it says something about your DJ skills if people have to threaten the DJ with "We'll leave this dance unless you play these songs." I'm jsut saying.
2) if there is a mass exodus of people after you segue from a song everyone liked to some generic rap song, you as a DJ need to realize that maybe your set list is horrid (i could be meaner, but i've got family that reads this)
3) DONT PLAY GENERIC RAP MUSIC WHEN THERE'S NO MORE THAN 30 SOBER PEOPLE THERE. TAKE REQUESTS, PLAY STUFF THAT'S NOT RAP.
4) dont remix Lady gaga. She's already a musical remix anyway.
All in all the dance that spurred these comments wasn't too bad , but coulda been a lot better. if i had to put a number to it, i'd give a 7.5
Last thing: i love how my school's response to complaints about the DJs at all other dances this year was to bring in the company they used in years pass, who is just as bad.
