so yea, more closure on the dance last night, it was fun but there was an abundance of the usual. What i find was funny was that at one point the DJ plays a string of 3-4 super bad songs and there's no one on the dance floor at that point but a group of my friends. acording to them, they wanted to see if he would keep playing the bad music if they walked off the dance floor. Well they did walk off, and he kept playing.
This reminds me of a quote that one of my other friends said just a bout 10 minutes ago: "You know one day, DJs will realize that the dance floor is not their Ipod. It's not what they want to hear, it's what the people at the dance want to hear." Going off of that, a DJ shouldnt play rap when there's sober people there who want more varied and good music.
last thing in this bonus post, And i'll flush this out more in the coming weekly update,: I find it rather contradictory that one of my freinds was complaining about the bad rap and techno, and bad mixing of the two, when she was being all sexual with her dancing on this one rap song that has the lyrics, "she moves he body like a cyclone" of whatever. I'm just saying, i think there's a bit of a contradiction there.
well, on the bright side, at least they played "Run this town" by Jay Z feat. Rhianna and Kanye West. That's a good song
