ok so this really would bonus post #9, but blogspot wouldnt let me post the original #8 for some odd reason. Anyway, i have a quick rant based on one of my classes.
As a prof, you should cover all the themes mentioned in the reading you assign us normally (20-40 pages), not just the big broad ones. and if you only do the latter you should not assign 60 some pages of reading over a long weekend, especially when a group of students has to "tweet" on twitter in 140 characters or less. I'm sorry, but i cant cover half the topics i would tweet about in 140 characters. Also, if you're gonna even use twitter to boost class participation, look at all the posts for that class session, not only the 4 or 5 most recent.
and on an unrelated note someone is using a beater in the kitchen to beat stuff together, and theyre beating whatever theyre making to death, cause they turn the device on every 30 seconds and beat the substance or whatever on super high for 30 seconds. What are you making that requires that intense heavy beating, bread soup?
